Good to Know
Morocco is home to a rich cultural heritage characterised by Arab, Berber and African traditions. It is important to respect local customs and traditions, including the choice of modest dress, especially in more conservative areas such as Zagora. Learning a few simple phrases in Arabic or Berber to communicate with the locals is greatly appreciated.
When exploring the desert, it is crucial to respect nature and the local wildlife. By avoiding litter and following responsible tourism practices, you are helping to preserve the beauty of the Sahara for future generations.
