Good to Know
Both Tangier and Chefchaouen offer a blend of Moroccan, Arab, and Andalusian cultures. Respect local customs, such as dressing modestly, especially in more conservative areas. Photography etiquette is also important, especially in Chefchaouen, where residents may prefer not to be photographed without permission.
Moroccan cuisine is diverse and flavourful. In Tangier, don’t miss trying fresh seafood dishes influenced by its coastal location. In Chefchaouen, sample traditional Moroccan fare like tagines and couscous, as well as Spanish-influenced dishes.
