Yes, but the water is refreshing: around 15 to 18°C in winter and 20 to 23°C in late summer. In Agadir, the bay is sheltered and calm. In Essaouira, the strongest winds occur from June to August – ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing, but less suitable for relaxed beach days. At unguarded beaches such as Sidi Kaouki and Cap Sim, currents can be strong.
