The Moroccan language made easy
Welcome – Marhaba!
Learn the basics of Moroccan Arabic!
Morocco, the gateway to Africa, has two official languages: Arabic and Tamazight, the Berber languages. The people of Morocco speak Moroccan Arabic. Most people also speak fluent French, which is the country’s first foreign language.
When visiting Morocco, it is recommended that you know – and speak – at least a few words of Moroccan Arabic. Trying to speak the local language will open up even more new experiences and help you to connect with the locals.
So let’s get started with the basics!
