From there, you travel north through a mountainous landscape to Chefchaouen, a small town noted for its buildings in shades of blue. Chefchaouen is one of the most photographed places on earth, and one of the star cities of Instagram.

Good to Know
The route from Fez to Chefchaouen offers stunning views of the Rif Mountains, especially as you approach Chefchaouen. Be sure to have your camera ready for picturesque landscapes.
The climate in Chefchaouen is generally cooler than Fez due to its elevation in the Rif Mountains. Summers are mild, but temperatures can drop significantly at night. Be sure to pack layers, especially if you’re traveling during the cooler months.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Fez
When you arrive at Fès-Saïs airport, we will be there to welcome you and take you to your riad in comfort. Settle in and enjoy some free time: take a stroll through UNESCO-listed Fes el Bali, the oldest walled part of Fez medina. Built by Idriss II in 809, it is renowned for its beautiful buildings which include funduqs (traditional inns), palaces and museums. You should also take this opportunity to enjoy some of the city’s famous souks, traditional markets where centuries-old craftsmanship is synonymous with quality.
Day 2
Fez
After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Fez and discover the city’s rich heritage.
Day 3
Fez to Chefchaouen
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before departing for Chefchaouen at around 8.30am. Enjoy a free afternoon in the town. The landscape around Chefchaouen is breathtaking – rolling hills give way to rugged peaks covered in firs and cedars.
Day 4
Chefchaouen to Fez
Breakfast then tour of Chefchaouen, famous throughout the world for its bright blue colours and rich craftsmanship. Every corner of the medina offers incredible sights; it’s a maze of colourful and shaded streets. For the best view, go up to the Spanish Mosque! We depart for Fez around 5pm.
Day 5
Fez
Enjoy breakfast at the riad. Your private transfer driver will collect you 3 hours prior to your flight’s scheduled departure time from Fès-Saïs Airport.
