Taghazout combines laid-back surf culture with an atmosphere of freedom and carefree living. Families can enjoy an easy-going Atlantic lifestyle filled with waves, rooftop breakfasts and little adventures by the sea. Around 22 kilometres and just under half an hour up the coast lies this former fishing village turned surfing hotspot: whitewashed houses overlooking the bay, surfboards on rooftops and sheltered surf spots where even eight-year-olds can catch their first wave.

For families, accommodation is an essential part of the journey. That is why we do not simply choose a beautiful hotel, but the property that suits the children’s ages, family size and preferred holiday rhythm.
Depending on your family, spacious family rooms, suites, connecting rooms or private villas may be suitable. Pools, proximity to the beach, children’s facilities, dining and short distances are considered just as carefully as peace and quiet for the parents. We arrange cots, highchairs and other equipment in advance wherever possible.
For families focused on surfing, Taghazout may be the right base; those who prefer maximum infrastructure and short distances are often better suited to Agadir. A hotel change is not necessary – the journey is deliberately designed to work from a single base too.
The region’s cuisine can easily be adapted for families. Mild tagines, couscous, grilled fish, fresh fruit, msemen and freshly pressed juices offer plenty of familiar starting points for younger guests.
At the same time, parents can discover the flavours of the Souss: argan oil, amlou, honey, spices and fresh fish from the Atlantic. We communicate allergies, intolerances and special requests to the booked properties and restaurants in advance.

Yes. Child seats and booster seats are arranged with advance notice. Please tell us the children’s ages and weights when making your enquiry so that the appropriate equipment can be reserved.
The minimum age depends on the surf school, supervision, location and current conditions. We select the provider to suit your family and confirm the requirements before booking.
The Atlantic Ocean is cool year-round, with water temperatures of around 17 to 21°C, and is warmest in September. For children, a shorty wetsuit is recommended, allowing them to stay in the water comfortably for much longer.
Yes. Thanks to the Atlantic influence, Agadir is generally considerably more temperate in summer than many inland regions of Morocco. For active excursions, however, we still take the time of day, weather and the children’s needs into account.
No. Dolphins are wild animals and sightings cannot be guaranteed. If dolphin watching forms part of your individual offer, we select a suitable provider and take weather and sea conditions into account.
Depending on the property, family rooms, suites, connecting rooms or private villas are available. The specific selection depends on family size, the children’s ages, preferred meal arrangements and desired level of comfort.

Every family member needs their own travel document, including infants. Passports and children’s passports are accepted; national ID cards are not. The passport must be valid for at least six months upon entry. No visa is required for tourist stays of up to 90 days. If you are travelling with only one parent, please carry a consent letter from the other parent or legal guardian, a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a copy of your passport. If you have different surnames, you should also carry your marriage certificate.

Master challenging sand dunes on a quad and feel the rush as the spectacular Atlantic coastline unfolds around you. Your quad adventure through one of the world’s most beautiful bays becomes an unforgettable experience. A true highlight: just one hour from Agadir, Paradise Valley reveals a stunning landscape of gorges, palm groves, almond trees, flowing streams and natural springs. Legend has it that Jimi Hendrix gave the valley its name in the 1960s. Hike through a forest along small streams to waterfalls and natural pools, where you can take a refreshing swim.
In just one day, discover the fertile Tiout Valley. During a stop in the “little Marrakesh,” admire the 6 km-long city walls, explore the small souk with its traditional craftsmanship or take a break with a freshly squeezed orange juice. Your guide will then accompany you to the Tiout oasis, a Berber village at the foot of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, located around 30 kilometres from Taroudant.
A beautiful palm grove stretches between several villages with red ochre houses, creating a truly idyllic landscape. From the hilltop, the Kasbah of Tiout offers sweeping views over the lush greenery and the desert beyond. You will then be welcomed to a local’s own home, where a delicious, authentic lunch awaits.
Souss Massa National Park spans 33,800 hectares between the mouth of the Souss Massa River and the Atlantic Ocean, encompassing seven villages known for their traditional Berber craftsmanship. The park is internationally renowned for its unique birdlife, including the rare Northern Bald Ibis. At several designated observation points, you can admire these species in their natural habitat.
Discover the coastline of Souss Massa National Park, from endless sandy beaches to dramatic cliffs overlooking the ocean. During a stop, observe local fishing boats and the beach of Sidi Ifni before enjoying a traditional Berber-style lunch. On the return journey, stops at the sand dunes and the Youssef Ben Tachfine dam complete the experience.
This excursion takes you to the mountain oasis of Immouzer, a lush green landscape filled with date palms, argan trees, cacti and wild herbs such as thyme and lavender.
